This week’s What to Wear is for a Breastfeeding Portrait session. To create a more fantastical, stylized portrait session, we start with what YOU wear.
We’re starting with a full-skirted dress with a deep vee-neckline to allow easy access for breastfeeding.
Or go bold with a full skirt and a nude nursing bra (for that skin-on-skin look with the comfort of coverage).
Pair your dress with a headband for some bling your baby can’t yank on:
Then, we move on to the outfit for your little one. A pretty dress or a stylized romper like the one below coordinated with a knotted headband for your baby girl:
Or shorts or a diaper cover with a hat and tie for your baby boy:
Or, go more simple with a ruffled diaper cover with a more dainty flower headband for your daughter:
Or a simple diaper cover for your son:
You always have the option of posing with a naked baby (plus maybe a headband for your little girl), but it’s this easy to select an outfit even for a stylized, fantasy breastfeeding portrait session!
